3 unique photo spots on the Vegas Strip
Where is Las Vegas located?
In case you haven’t been able to visit, Las Vegas is located in the state of Nevada which is the largest city in the Mojave Desert. It is easily accessible from the 15 freeway which runs through southern California and continues on through Utah. You can also fly into the Las Vegas Airport which sits about 3.5 miles away from the Vegas strip.
Whether you want to capture beautiful photos for social media or share memories with family and friends, here are 3 unique photo spots. It was a pretty easy day because I stayed low key on site with my iPhone 13 Pro and compact tripod.
The Las Vegas sign
The Las Vegas sign was built in 1959 and it is only 1 mile away from Las Vegas airport. After visiting Las Vegas throughout my life I finally had an opportunity to take photos here on a Sunday morning at 8am when there was no line. Amazing, I know!
Cost: $0.
Reservations: Walk up day or night or book local tours.
Parking: Small parking lot which is great for taxi or Lyft rides.
Tips: Wear sunblock in case you’re there for a while even if it’s early in the morning. Take the photo from the side angle to avoid the line.
2. Paris Eiffel Tower from Bellagio
This is a good one you may have never thought of as you head into the center strip! As you walk along the Bellagio fountains there is an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower across the street. You can access the pathway from the Bellagio valet or the main strip itself.
Cost: $0.
Reservations: Not required as you can freely walk around.
Parking: Bellagio taxi drop off, valet, or self-parking.
Tips: Be prepared for light traffic walking by when you’re here.
3. Museum of Dream Space
Immerse yourself in a dream space! In the back of the Palazzo level of the Venetian Hotel Canal Shoppes is a cool place called the Museum of Dream Space. It is the first digital art museum in the US. A perfect playground for content creators or a fun date night! There are a handful of rooms including some designed by local artists. It was convenient to go for street art like photos versus going downtown for the art murals which may not be safe.
Address: Venetian Grand Canal 3600 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
Cost: Starts at $32.50+, VIP packages with photographers are available.
Reservations: Buy tickets to choose your time.
Parking: Venetian taxi drop off, valet, or self-parking.
Tips: Bring your own tripod and go at an odd hour to have your own time.
When is a good time to visit Vegas?
Las Vegas and the desert regions of the southwest have mild weather in the spring and fall. I must admit it was almost getting too hot by late May as it was hitting about 100 degrees. The summers stay up to triple digits and in the winter there has been snow. If you’re staying indoors then you have more comfortable options if the weather isn’t mild.
